Meet Our Dedicated Staff
Peter Wills, Executive Director, is a graduate of University of Wisconsin–Green Bay with bachelor degrees in both Business Administration and Political Science. He has over 20 years of experience in management, finance, and banking at BMO Harris, Chase Bank and Morgan Stanley, as well as management roles with Enterprise Fleet Management.
Peter is a board member and Vice President of Northeast Wisconsin Regional Economic Partnership (NEWREP), and a board member of The Chamber of Manitowoc County and Manitowoc County Youth Apprenticeship. Peter is also a member of NEW Manufacturing Alliance, Bay Lake Regional Plan Commission, Manitowoc Downtown Association (MCCA), Two Rivers Business Association (TRBA), Business Solutions Team partnership of Manitowoc and Sheboygan workforce agencies.
Economic Development Specialist
Lorinda holds an Associate’s degree in Accounting from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and came to Progress Lakeshore in 2016 with 6 years of experience in accounting, finance, payroll, and project management functions. Her experience also includes implementation of Lean transformations and improving organizational performance with skillfulness in utilizing Office Lean. She dedicates herself in organizing office operations to ensure effectiveness while maximizing cost efficiencies.
Lorinda is actively involved in the Young Professionals of Manitowoc County, Two Rivers Business Association, Downtown Manitowoc, the Lakeshore Community Job Fair planning committee and the Tisch Mills Youth Sports Association. In her spare time, Lorinda enjoys gardening, traveling and spending time with her husband and daughter.

Human Resources Specialist
Lindsey graduated from UW-Milwaukee with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Human Resources Management with a certificate in International Business, and is currently enrolled in the Masters of Science in Leadership and Organizational Development Program at Silver Lake College. Lindsey also has a SHRM Assurance of Learning – Advanced certificate, and aims to achieve further SHRM certification.
Lindsey joined Progress Lakeshore in 2017 with over 5 years’ experience in recruitment, compliance, and supervision, with experience specifically in Human Resources, Continuous Improvement, and Quality Assurance. Lindsey’s background primarily includes working in higher education, agriculture, and manufacturing.
Lindsey is actively involved in the Young Professionals of Manitowoc County, the local SHRM chapter, Business Solutions Team, Youth Apprenticeship and CTE Advisory, and the Lakeshore Community Job Fair planning committee. When away from work, Lindsey values exercising and enjoying the outdoors with her husband, Fred, and German Shepherd, Ally.
Marketing and Communications Specialist
Derek graduated from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College with an Associate’s Degree in Marketing with an emphasis in Market Development. He brings to Progress Lakeshore experience in marketing, research, and communications. Derek divides his time between Progress Lakeshore and his role as a Research Assistant at Leede Research.
Derek’s skill set includes social media marketing, event planning, and public relations. He is an active member of Young Professionals of Manitowoc County, and assisted in the Vision 2022 survey process. Outside of work, Derek enjoys traveling and spending quality time with friends and family.
